Happy Fathers day, an Intro and beach pics

Fathers Day is to thank your dad for having sex with your mom (or as Skylers Dad pointed out in comments below... not pulling out.) ! So go thank your dad now. Next year on Mothers Day, you can thank your mom for not swallowing you.

The Boy who is 17 says "Happy Fathers Day Dad, now where's my present?" That just made me laugh hysterically. The kids gave him present. He wouldn't open it. We all started begging him to open it.. Hubs pointed out the window and said "Look ...squirrel" Both of the kids looked out the window. VERY funny. They got him Call of Duty Modern warfare. It is INTENSE on-line play. Fast paced and so realistic. We have a new addiction. I am only blogging now because he won't let us play.

Next I would like to introduce you to my SIL Shelly. I've talked a little about her here, and here. I have posted quite a bit about her, but you all won't be clicking on the links, so I am not going to drive myself nuts looking for all of the posts. Anyway, my daughter and I have talked her into blogging here. Her blog is Rock Om. No that is not a typo, for those of you into meditation, it makes sense to you. Hopefully. For those of you who are not, OM is: Om or Aum is of paramount importance in Hinduism. This symbol is a sacred syllable representing Brahman, the impersonal Absolute of Hinduism — omnipotent, omnipresent, and the source of all manifest existence. Brahman, in itself, is incomprehensible; so a symbol becomes mandatory to help us realize the Unknowable. Om, therefore, represents both the unmanifest (nirguna) and manifest (saguna) aspects of God. That is why it is called pranava, to mean that it pervades life and runs through our prana or breath. Source: About.com

But it will not always be about meditation and spiritual stuff. She will post short stories, life stuff, funny stuff and lots of other stuff. She has already posted and is already stalking you, you, you, and yes, even you (but you already knew that). So please stop by and give her some love.

Yesterday Shelly, Tiffany and I went to the beach. It was a record breaking hot day.
It was beautiful though. I was smart and wore sunblock, so I only got minimally burned. It doesn't hurt and I can actually be touched without wincing.

She made it out alive as did all of us

Which by the way melts VERY quickly in 100° weather
