As I type this, an avalanche is ready to happen at any moment. "You are in Florida, this isn't possible!", you say. "Oh but it is", I argue. You see, the only thing almost completely visible on my desk is my keyboard. The avalanche I speak of is not snow, but paper, garbage and other stuff that seems to mate, multiply and accumulate all over my desk.
Oh I could clean it, but then I wouldn't be able to find anything. There is stuff here from... well to find that out, I would have to dig to the bottom of the packed snow which would indeed trigger this horrendous disaster. Just suffice it to say, the crap has been building for a while.
There is also Mt. Clothing ready to tumble at any minute.
So I don't mind doing laundry, I just hate folding it, if I do fold it or get it ready to hang, I pile it on my dressers instead. I guess I am too lazy. Besides, I'd rather be here.
My bags from the trip are still packed. I've been home for 5 days. I DID manage to wash and dry 2 loads... that's as far as it got.
These sound like New Years Resolutions don't they? Don't worry, they are not. As I make the resolution every damned year for the past 18 years, I can always find something better to do. I think
this sums it up completely.
So as I sit here, I now there are other things I should be doing. yes I feel a tad bit guilty, obviously not guilty enough to do something about it.
I cant wait to get back to work on Monday, I miss all of my peeps and
this conversation Now, if you will excuse me, I need to find my cat, she went into my room 3 days ago and I don't think she can find her way out

I don't mind laundry or folding and hanging (I hang it right as it comes out of the dryer). BUT I do hate to put it away, so it often stays in the clothes basket until we need to wear it or I need the clothes baskets.
LOL! Sounds like my house! Damned wrinkled clothes. We just throw the back in the dryer Height of laziness huh?
Oh.. didja get my email? I wanted to continue to follow you
I bet we could give your house a run for it's money with our disorganization around here!
I'm lovin' your NON resolutions....they're making me feel much better about my mountains of crap around this house....!!
WYD I am sure! You guys have your hands full!
Lee.. Mix us a coupla martinis and we can tackle together out mountains ... NOT!
LOL I swear that story could have just as easily been written about me. Disorganized desk. Check. Mountains of laundry. Check. And, when we get back from vaca I always figure why take the effort to put it back in the dresser. They all can just keep living out of the suitcase until it's empty. If it's good enough for vaca it's good enough for home, right?!! :)
Well said Angie! I am glad I am not alone on my philosophy
I was just telling my husband, I have to clean off the computer desk tomorrow.Needless to say,I'm not looking forward to tomorrow :o(
Well.. you can take some comfort in knowing that tomorrow never comes

Just found your blog...and was so relieved to know my desk has a twin out there in the universe! We could make a pact...you clean yours and I'll clean mine. But I know I'm not gonna. There are always better things to do than clean!
EM I hear ya! It IS refreshing knowing we are not the only undomesticated people out there isn't it? Thanks for stopping by!
LOL! Are you my long lost mom??? Or sister??? Becuz everything you described is me to the T! My desk is also overloaded with papers... and if I throw anything away I know that I will be looking for it later! lol Laundry.. Well I do the laundry... it gets home and sits in baskets for like two weeks until we wear it all again and then goes back to the MIL's house to be rewashed and refolded only to sit back in the basket! lol Oh and we went to Georgia over Christmas weekend... that bag stayed unpacked til just yesterday! lol
Wow! It's like we could be twins!
I've got the same avalanche over here, too, and....
Hey, wait...
You're not my evil clone, are you?
LMAO@ you both we could all be evil clones or long lost sextuplets separated at birth.
You all make me feel so much better about my laziness!
