Either that, or it just doesn't take much to amuse me. No nothing freaky is going to pop out and scare the shit out of you, I promise! I just thought it was interesting. Let me know if it blew your mind as well!
Some people couldn't see the original video too well.. so here is a different one with the same concept.

Didja see what you were supposed to see? I didn't. In fact I had to watch it again, and even then I figured it was doctored.
Don't forget, I want to use one of YOUR posts for the madlib on Monday. Please email with with your post link by tonight so I can figure it out and get it posted for Reader Participation Sunday tomorrow. Yes, you can play, because you won't know for what words I'll be asking. I have my volunteer for this week, and next.. but you can volunteer any time and I will get to you in the order the volunteered post was received

The video keeps stopping! Can you post a YouTube link or something instead? Now, I'm really intrigued and feel like I can't go on until I've seen this video!!!
You can use one of my post if you wish, but they may all be on the longish side.
I have seen that before, I had no idea!!!
LOL Rachel.. I will see if I can find one
Thanks Travis.. I will look them over.
Chris: It still freaks me out that i missed it the first time.
Okay, I must be an idiot, because I had to watch it a THIRD time before I saw the bear!!! So funny!
Nope.. you aren't an idiot.. lots of people miss it. The original video explained it as "perceptual blindness" We are so tuned in to one specific task, we don't pay attention to anything else. You are not alone ;)
I don't know whatcha mean by using someone's post, but feel free to use one of the Scandy Housewives!
Scandy, thanks I am going to use someone's post as a madlib instead of from the madlib book. I will use one of your posts next week thanks!
It's funny how easily we can be tricked!
RG: I had to watch this particular video twice and I KNEW what to expect... sad really
Wow, I missed it! Amazing. The message is clear, you do miss things if you're not looking for them.
Let me know what I can do to help you...anytime.
I caught the number of passes the first time through and completely missed the bear. I'm so not surprised. I'm lame like that.
Dang it!
I played my Brain Age and my prefrontal cortex was all warmed up and yet I still missed the bear!
Darn brain age!
Phooey!
heh heh
That's pretty amazing. It reminds me of a video I watched where they had a guy asking people on the street for directions. Well, in the middle of asking them, two people would walk between them with something big to obscure their view of each other. During this time, they would switch out the original asker with someone completely different, and the people being asked would never even notice.
Very cool indeed. I liked the bear. He looks a lot like Michael Jackson.
Damn, took me three times! And I'm a cyclist, so now I'm scared! ;-)
ME-ME: I knew what to expect and I still missed it! Thank your for volunteering.. Email me with the post you would like me to use.
Blognut. I LOVE things like this.. they never cease to amuse/amaze me
QL: I wonder if even the smartest people missed the bear.. I know I'm not one of them
Shawn.. I think I saw that video while looking for this one.. That was pretty funny
Mary: I had to watch it gain.. but your right.. the moves are similar
Riff: Three times? That's gotta be a record ;)
then I must hace no life b/c I thought it was awesome. It probably was doctored by it certainly got hte point across in a humorous way
No life... psh.. you've got an interesting life ;)
