For those of you with dirty minds.. yeah yeah.. the title was misleading but you're still reading right? Oh come on now, you REALLY didn't expect to read about a torrid affair did you? My daughter and my mom read this blog. I DO have a little decency, very little.
I am talking about Tropical Storm Fay. This happened 6 months ago when I tried to stick things in places they wouldn't fit. When the power was knocked out we opened the windows because it was hot and humid. The 45mph

We lost trees in our neighborhood to Fay. And to honor the trees, the power lines decided to go, too.
In our part of the world, we don't get snow days but we often get a couple of hurricane days. They can be rather scary when the trees fall and the winds keep kicking it up.
Oh yes... I hate it....but prefer it over snow ANY day!
Last year was bad enough in Texas. Let's hope for the best!

i ALWAYS HOPE FOR THE BEST ;)
1st paragraph really grabs your attention huh? Glad you liked it
Winds from Hurricane Ike hit OHIO last year and shut down our city for several days - no power, roofs gone, etc. There was no rain, just 100 MPH winds!

We are still trying to put our house back together after Ike. And I live near Chicago! I swear mother nature must be going through menopause.
AHHH thats why I live in the blessed desert (or is that blasted desert?) the only thing I have to worry about is dying from heat stroke the minute I walk out side... oh and getting snowed in during january... oh yeah and the flash floods... oh yeah and the wind storms... damn it is there nowhere safe?
I love living here in Colorado, different weather all the time, but the only things to worry about are tornadoes, heavy winter storms, ice, mudslides, forest fires...
Well I'm glad you guys are ok! I haven't been in a hurricane, but I've seen my share of tornadoes. I'm in KS ya know.
