It sounds dirty, but it's not

I was watching the news a while back and I saw this caption under Nasty Nancy Pelosi's picture:

"Nancy Pelosi flexes her clout." I thought, "Ewwwwwwwwwwww I don't even WANT to know what part of the anatomy her clout is." Then I wondered why the media thought is so important that the world should know this disgusting fact. Who in the hell would want to see her clout? Not I.

OK OK I'll confess. I am a walking talking dictionary. I know what clout means, but it just caught me off guard and in my usual gutter-mind mode, I couldn't help but laugh.

Don't worry, I'll save you the trouble of looking it up: Dictionary.com defines clout in this sense of the word as: Informal. pull; strong influence; muscle, esp. political power: a wealthy campaign contributor with clout at city hall.

Now that you have learned a new word, go out and use it as dirtily as possible!

In case you cant read it. The caption on my post pic says "If not for the gutter, my mind would be homeless" I found it very apropos.

Funny- Sometimes the most common "innocent" words or phrases make my mind go there too. Deep down, we're all still a bunch of giggling junior highers.

The other a Clout been a ladies "Front Garden"

funnt how our "lady bits" get a name isnt it hahaha

On the tv the other day someone said she was a teacher and a young child had gone into class crying as her Aunt Mary was poorly. The teacher got all the class to make get well cards for Aunt Mary.

the following day, childs mum went into school confused about the cards.. turned out Aunt Mary was the girls "lady bits" hahaha

Hum. Sometimes I'm afraid to say pubic bone in Pilates class.....

I like the "Aunt Mary" comment. That's what we get when we start making up stuff to describe parts of our bodies. At least the child didn't mumble Aunt Regina. That would be a bit close.

Don't you have to change the "ou" to another one of the vowels???

I love Dictionary.com. I do. I would marry a dictionary...they have spines (that was pretty clever...hehehe).

Clout is one of those words that bother me.

Moist is another.

No one should have to hear either of those words.

RG: I can imagine the giggles anytime "pubic" is mentioned. LMAO @ Aunt Regina

Mom.. It took me about 5 minutes to get that... I guess I am not as dirty minded as I thought.
